All Stapelstein® Original, Board and Inside elements are 100% manufactured in Germany. This allows us to guarantee environmentally friendly, fair and climate-neutral production, as well as short delivery routes. 

All Stapelstein® Original, Board and Inside elements are made of resource-saving EPP. The plastic is 100% recyclable and also free from blowing materials, plasticizers or other additives. The elements in mint and black contain a percentage of recycled material. 

The elements are made from densely pressed EPP, a material with excellent insulating properties, so they feel warm even in cold environments. Their slightly roughened surface ensures slip resistance, while their firm structure and lightness make them easy to handle.

The Stapelstein®️ Original Grows are available in two different sets: the "Rainbow Classic" and the "Rainbow Pastel." For those who prefer to customize, there is the Set of 3 "You," which allows for a personalized selection. Additionally, the Grows are also available individually in all 13 colors, offering maximum flexibility in selection and design.

Stapelstein® founder Stephan grew up in a family of educators, which sparked his interest in pedagogical issues during his design studies. He realized that children's natural urge to move was often overlooked. Since then, Stephan has focused on developing solution-oriented ideas that encourage playful movement within everyday living spaces.

We love inventing games together. We start with a simple idea, like tossing a ball into an upturned Stapelstein® Original, and soon, the creativity flows, and a brand-new game emerges. 

Here’s an example: 'Throw the ball into the Stapelstein® Original while balancing on one leg. For each missed throw, a new challenge is added—miss once, and you balance on one leg; miss again, and you stretch your arm up to keep steady, and so on. 

In our studio and workstations, we avoid sitting on rigid chairs. Instead, we sit at varying heights on dynamic stools or stand on the Stapelstein® Board at our standing desks, keeping us in motion throughout the day.

Respect for our environment accompanies us in every decision we make. Not only in our private actions, but also in our business activities. The Stapelstein® Original and the Stapelstein® Board are produced in a climate-neutral way. Thanks to the innovative foaming process with pure water vapour, we achieve a saving of 96% raw material. For us, the long-term usability of a product is also a very important key to sustainable added value. Right from the design process, we ensure that our product portfolio has a timeless appearance, is multifunctional, durable and ultimately 100% recyclable. This is how a sustainable cycle works for us.
