All Stapelstein® Original, Board and Inside elements are 100% manufactured in Germany. This allows us to guarantee environmentally friendly, fair and climate-neutral production, as well as short delivery routes. 

All Stapelstein® Original, Board and Inside elements are made of resource-saving EPP. The plastic is 100% recyclable and also free from blowing materials, plasticizers or other additives. The elements in mint and black contain a percentage of recycled material. 

The elements are made from densely pressed EPP, a material with excellent insulating properties, so they feel warm even in cold environments. Their slightly roughened surface ensures slip resistance, while their firm structure and lightness make them easy to handle.

All elements are water repellent and weather resistant. The material was tested on 60 sunny summer days at an air temperature of 25°C and humidity of 50%. Due to UV resistance, the color remains intact after exposure to sunlight. 

EPP is a living material. Nevertheless, we do not recommend storing Stapelstein® Originals, Stapelstein® Boards and Stapelstein® Insides outdoors or in wet conditions for several years. After playing outdoors, we recommend placing them individually so that they can dry. Whether indoors or outdoors, Stapelstein® brings movement into your life at any time of year.   

With proper use and care, the elements can last a lifetime. Of course, our products are not indestructible and should be used properly.   

The Stapelstein® Original is 180 g light and can withstand up to 180 kg. The Stapelstein® Board is 268 g light and can withstand up to 120 kg. Mini weighs 24 g and can withstand up to 30 kg.

The Stapelstein® Originals and the Stapelstein® Boards can be used outside in the same way as inside. Coarse dirt can be removed with clear water and a brush. After contact with water, we recommend placing the elements individually so that they can dry. 

Please note: Especially light colors are more susceptible to stubborn dirt, which may be difficult to remove.

Yes! Both the Stapelstein® Original and the Stapelstein® Board are pure, food safe and certified. They are free of propellants, plasticizers and any other additives. They can be put in the mouth by children during play without hesitation.

We refer to the fact that pointed and sharp objects can leave permanent marks on the elements in our safety instructions. This includes, for example, small, sharp teeth. If the holes are small, the material will remain stable. If there are large holes or cracks, we recommend replacing the product. Stapelstein® Original, Board and Inside elements are free from blowing substances, plasticizers and any other additives, so there is no risk to health.

Hohenstein Institute & QIMA 

Testing according to the toy standards: DIN EN 71-1:2014-07A, DIN EN 71-3:2017-10A and further, chemical requirements. The certification confirms that the products have a clean finish, no edges or points, demonstrates saliva and sweat fastness and is suitable for children under 3 years.
